We are a church who believes that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, and we proclaim him Lord and Savior of the world. We are also a church on a mission to make followers of Christ, baptize them into the fellowship of believers, teach them the Good News, equip them for ministry, and send them out into the world to show the love of Christ.
The messages and songs of worship all reflect this strong belief, and you will discover that this is a place where you and your family will feel welcome just as you are each time you step through the doors.
With ministry opportunities available for all those who love the Lord and want to serve God, you will find that your purpose in life will be greatly enhanced as a result of becoming involved in our fellowship.
There can be great strength and encouragement through the trials of life within a church family, as well as great joy by having a group around you who will rejoice with you in your times of rejoicing.
No, this is not the “perfect church.” However, I believe you will find it to be a church that will minister to you, and in turn, give you opportunity to minister to others.

- What time do the services start?
On Sunday morning we start our age-specific Sunday School classes at 9:30, and we begin our worship service at 10:30. We also meet at different times throughout the week for small group prayer and discussion, Bible studies and other fellowship events.
- How do I get to First Christian Church?
First Christian is in the Oak Park Subdivision, on Second Ave. (a secondary North/South artery), 2 blocks North of Memorial Hospital.
